Savino was born into a turbulent childhood on December 1st, 1981. That turbulence plus the era of the 80s fed into his imagination, creating creatures, stories, and characters. He started drawing at an early age and began to sculpt in 2009. Early Influences include Ray Harryhausen, Clive Barker, H.R Giger, Heavy Metal Magazine, Masters of the Universe and MTV to name a few. The onslaught of influence from all forms of media grew to a desire to learn and grow more as an artist which continues to this day.

Eric was a scare actor for Six Flags Great Adventure which led into an acting role in Midnight Mass (2003) (IMDB). later on he had a short stint in the VFX industry (IMDB) creating 3D movies. Afterwards working in a small FX shop creating masks and prosthetics for Walt Disney World. Finally settling in the scenic industry helping to create many elements for theme parks such as Walt Disney, Universal, and Kennedy Space Center. On his off time from the scenic shop he is creating creatures of all sorts in his home studio.
